Common questions

How do we pair? One of you taps "Invite my partner" and sends the 6-character code. The other taps "I have a code" and enters it. Codes last 7 days.

Why can't I see my partner's answer? That's the point — it unlocks the moment you answer the same question.

We're in different time zones. You share one clock: the time zone of whoever created your space. The daily question changes at midnight there, so you always get the same one.

One of us bought Pro — does the other have to? No. One subscription covers both of you; your partner's app shows "Pro via your partner."

How do I cancel Pro? iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cahoots.

How many photos can we keep? 50 for free and 2,000 with Pro, counting photos on answers and in the scrapbook. If Pro ends, nothing is deleted. You just can't add more until you're back under 50.

Do photos ever get deleted? Only if neither of you opens Cahoots for a whole year. We remind you about a month before. Your written answers stay.

How do I sign out or delete my account? Settings → Sign out, or Settings → Delete my account. If you haven't finished setting up yet, use the "..." menu in the corner. See the Privacy Policy.

Can we turn off spicy questions? Yes. Open your topics and switch on "Hide all 18+ questions." If either of you does, neither of you sees them.
